    Please make sure that if you are a current parent or family member to fill out the information that is asked for the parent(s) rate.


Question: Who can join?

Answer- Any person that is a supporter, parent(s), Alumni, Alumni of the band


Question: What will I get if I join?

Answer - We are working on incentives. However, your contribution to the band program is tax deductable and greatly appreciated. Bi-Weekly and monthly news letters pertaining the AAMU Band boosters and AAMU band program. 


Question: Where are my donations / money paid for joining benefiting or going towards

Answer - Your donation / money paid for membership will go directly to the AAMU Band Program. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. 


Question: Are my contribution / donations / Money paid for membership tax deductable?

Answer - Yes


Question: Once I Join How can I participate?

Answer - We have monthly membership calls. During these calls we discuss our current budget, fundraising, community service, and events that will benefit the AAMU Marching band program. 


Question: Do we have to be a member of the MMW (Marching Maroon and White) to Join?

Answer - No, membership is open to all. 


Question: Are the Auxiliary parent(s) included in the AAMU Band Boosters Association?

Answer - Yes, auxiliary is considered as part of the AAMU Band Program so we are all family.


Question: Is the University aware of the AAMU Band Boosters Association, Inc.

Answer - Yes, we are recognized by the university. However, currently we are not part of the AAMU Alumni Association.
